Every woman’s story is different — your path to restoration should be too. At Skin and Soul, we create a personalized, safe, and soul-centered healing experience designed entirely around you.
Each Journey is Unique
Healing That Goes Far Beyond the Surface
At Skin and Soul, the client journey is more than a series of appointments — it is a compassionate process built to support your body, emotions, identity, and confidence through every stage of healing.
Your journey begins with a thoughtful conversation, not a transaction.
We listen to your story, understand your needs, and create a treatment plan that honors the entire person you are — not just the scars or symptoms you carry.
Whether you’re healing after breast reconstruction, trauma, surgery, illness, or a deeply personal life chapter, every part of your experience with us is shaped by:
- Safety — emotional and physical
- Respect — your story, your boundaries, your pace
- Holistic support — from medical tattooing to energy and somatic healing
- Precision artistry — grounded in decades of professional art and medical training
- Connection — because healing feels different when you’re not doing it alone
Your journey is never rushed. Never minimized. Always honored.

A Story of Strength, HeaA Story of Strength, Healing, and Returning to Selfling, and Returning to Self
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my world was already heavy with heartache. My husband was declining and dying from his own battle with cancer. As I faced my diagnosis, I was also walking beside him through his final days. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life-one that tested every ounce of faith, courage, and love I had within me.
My diagnosis began with invasive ductal carcinoma in my left breast. Wanting to be proactive, I chose to have a double mastectomy in December 2020. That decision turned out to be lifesaving. When the pathology came back, doctors discovered multifocal invasive ductal carcinoma in my right breast-cancer that had not been detected before surgery.
The path to recovery was long and complicated. In January 2021, I had to return to surgery due to a staph infection in my left breast. The physical healing took time, but the emotional healing was even deeper. For the next four years, I remained flat, learning to embrace my body and find peace with the scars that told my story of survival.
In 2025, I made a new choice for myself-to pursue DIEP flap reconstruction. The process began with tissue expanders in January, followed by a 13-hour DIEP surgery in March. Recovery was long but filled with gratitude for how far I had come. Then, in July 2025, I went back to my surgeon’s office for another procedure, and finally, in October 2025, I completed this chapter with nipple tattooing, a symbolic finishing touch that brought me a sense of closure and renewal.
Now, as a five-year breast cancer survivor, I can look back and see not just the pain, but the extraordinary strength that carried me through. My scars are not reminders of loss-they are proof of survival, courage, and grace. To anyone facing breast cancer right now: you are stronger than you can imagine. The journey is not easy, but it is filled with moments of unexpected beauty and triumph.
