What services do you provide?
We offer medical tattooing (3D areola restoration, scar camouflage), microneedling and scar revision, Reiki, somatic healing, and personalized emotional support sessions. Every service is tailored to your specific needs.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. All journeys begin with a free one-on-one consultation so we can understand your needs and recommend the right path for your healing.
Do you allow online booking?
Not at this time. Because every woman’s situation is unique, we schedule appointments only after a personal consultation to ensure the right amount of time and the appropriate treatments are planned.
How long does a typical service take?
It depends on the service and the level of healing needed. Some appointments take 1–2 hours; others may require several sessions. Your consultation will help determine the right timeline.
What is 3D areola restoration?
It is a highly specialized medical tattooing technique that recreates the natural appearance of an areola and nipple. This can restore symmetry, shape, and confidence after mastectomy and breast reconstruction.
Do you work with surgical scars or trauma scars?
Yes. We specialize in scar camouflage, scar softening, and microneedling to help reduce the visual impact and emotional weight of scarring.
Are your services painful?
Most clients describe the sensations as mild to moderate. We use medical-grade topical anesthetic when appropriate. Your comfort is always a priority.
How much do services cost?
Pricing varies because every client’s needs are different. We will provide ranges and options during your consultation. Payment plans can be made available when needed.
Do you accept insurance?
Direct insurance billing is not available at this time; however, we can provide a superbill for clients seeking reimbursement through their insurance or medical provider. This is especially helpful for post-surgical treatment and reconstruction-related services.
Can I share photos with you?
Yes. Many clients share photos ahead of their consultation to help us understand their needs. All images are kept private and confidential.
Are my sessions confidential?
Always. Skin and Soul prioritizes emotional safety, discretion, privacy, and trauma-informed care. Your story is protected.
Do you collaborate with doctors and medical providers?
Yes. We frequently work with surgeons, oncologists, breast care teams, dermatologists, and wellness practitioners to support patients before, during, and after treatment.
Do you offer mobile services?
Not yet — but it is being explored for the future. We will only offer mobile care once licensing, safety, and compliance requirements are fully met.
Do I need to be medically cleared before receiving restorative tattooing or scar camouflage?
Depending on your procedure and medical history, we may ask that you receive clearance from your healthcare provider before beginning restorative services. Every healing journey is different, and our priority is making sure your skin and body are ready. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your history, concerns, goals, and where you are in the healing process so we can determine the safest and most appropriate next steps.
Is restorative care only for people who have experienced breast cancer or a mastectomy?
Not at all. While 3D areola restoration and post-mastectomy care are an important part of what we do, Skin & Soul supports people healing from many different life-changing experiences. Restorative services may be appropriate for surgical scars, injuries, burns, self-harm scars, trauma, and other changes to the body that can affect how someone feels in their skin. We welcome you to schedule a consultation and simply have a conversation about what may be possible for you.
